It all started in 1987 in Key West, when Dave McKnight envisioned a way to make light move like flowing water. Using LEDs, motors, and acrylic, he created a system that fools the eye, delights the senses, and requires ZERO water.
Today, that invention is patented, built in the USA, and installed in spaces around the world — from nightclubs and cruise ships to hotels, restaurants, and immersive entertainment venues.
We design and build LED lighting fixtures that deliver a striking 3D glow.
Every piece is crafted to order in Orlando, Florida — not pulled off a shelf, and never generic.
Now for the “why.”
I’ve always believed water is the most beautiful and powerful element on Earth. I had a clear vision: create a lighting experience that captures the flowing, bubbling motion of water — using light, motion, and acrylics instead of gallons of H₂O.
That vision never left.
Fast forward to today, and the design world calls this idea biomimicry — creating technology inspired by nature. We call our signature effect Aquallusion®. It’s a patented, simulated water-in-motion lighting experience that looks alive, feels organic, and honestly… fools everyone who sees it.
And it works. Everywhere.
Our lighting has been installed worldwide in nightclubs, hotels, bars, cruise ships, museums, stadiums, trade show exhibits, home theaters, arcades, retail spaces, and family entertainment centers. If a space needs energy, movement, and “wow,” our fixtures deliver.
